Black Joe Lewis @ Emo's
It seems like the sky is the limit for Black Joe Lewis, Austin’s newest generation of bluesman and the most recent addition to the Los Angeles-based Constant Artist Management roster (who also represents Spoon, Okkervil River and Explosions in the Sky). Believe it or not, Lewis has been playing the guitar (and the hard blues) for only six years and relocated to Austin from Tucson, Ariz. to do so. Appearing sans the Honey Bears, Black Joe’s eight-piece gaggle of Blues Brother-esque devotees, Lewis performs in support of the Dirtbombs with Kelly Stolz tonight at 9.
