Pillow Queens & the Diagonals @ Beerland
Local record label and literary press Monofonus Press is on a roll at
Beerland tonight, as two of the bands from its roster of artists —
Pillow Queens and the Diagonals — go head-to-head with fellow townies
Harlem, Shapes Have Fangs and Wine & Revolution. Both Pillow Queens
and the Diagonals (which features "Dazed and Confused" actor and
post-millennial wunderkind Wiley Wiggins) appear on the recently
released Monofonus Label sampler with musical constituents the Golden
Boys, John Wesley Coleman III, the Roller and Over the Hill.
